About Jo

Hello, Jo here!

It all started one stormy night in the harbour-side city of Bristol, England. A young girl (me) picked up a pencil and began to draw… and draw… and draw. Lightening flashed across the sky as she created comic strips about dinosaurs, football stars and super hero mice as well as many sketches of Sonic the Hedgehog because Sonic was cool.

I may have embellished that story a little. Basically, I’ve loved drawing from a very early age and have continued to do so making it into more than just a hobby since 2010.

I work from my little apartment in Glasgow, Scotland which I share with my wife and our 2 cats Eliot and Murphy.

Creative experience: I have had the pleasure of providing illustrative works for Cardiff City FC, XpoNorth, The Touring Network, FeWales, Rachel Sermanni (musician), Scottish Fiction, The Miniature Music Press and Smart Car among others.

I am the creator of the web comic ‘Craigy Who and Mr Timey Pants’ which was translated into 3 languages and have published a number of comic books. Currently working on some new comic books as well as a children’s picture book and a guide to supporting someone with depression.
